Donation Policy
Abraham Global Aid Foundation recognizes that our humanitarian work is only made possible through the generosity, trust, and partnership of our supporters. We are deeply committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all our financial practices.
This policy outlines how Abraham Global Aid Foundation accepts, manages, and protects the contributions entrusted to us to support our mission of providing food, clean water, education, and community development.
1. Acceptance of Gifts
Abraham Global Aid Foundation accepts financial contributions, grants, and corporate sponsorships that align with our core mission and values. We reserve the right to decline any donation that is not in alignment with our objectives, that may compromise our independence, or that comes from sources conflicting with our ethical standards.
2. Use of Donations and Fund Allocation
Abraham Global Aid Foundation operates under the principle that all resources must be utilized to achieve maximum impact.
-
Unrestricted Gifts: The majority of donations are unrestricted, allowing Abraham Global Aid Foundation to deploy funds to the areas of greatest urgency and immediate need.
-
Restricted Gifts: While we make every effort to honor a donor’s request to fund a specific project or program, Abraham Global Aid Foundation must retain ultimate legal discretion and control over the use of all donated funds. If a designated project becomes fully funded, cannot be completed due to changing local circumstances, or is delayed, the foundation will redirect those funds to another critical program. This policy ensures your gift is never stagnant and always serves those in need.
3. Registration and 501(c)(3) Pending Status
Abraham Global Aid Foundation is officially incorporated as a non-profit organization in the State of Mississippi, USA.
Please be advised that our application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is currently pending with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Because this application is still under review, donations made to Abraham Global Aid Foundation are not currently tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes. We are committed to full legal transparency and will formally notify our donor network immediately upon receiving our official tax-exempt determination from the IRS.
4. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Because charitable contributions are deployed swiftly to fund ongoing humanitarian efforts and secure vital resources, Abraham Global Aid Foundation considers all donations to be non-refundable.
However, we understand that exceptional circumstances occur. If a donation is made in error (such as a technical glitch on the website, a processing error, or an unintended duplicate transaction), donors may request a refund.
-
Requests must be submitted within seven (7) business days of the transaction.
-
Donors must contact our administration directly at info@abrahamglobalaid.org with proof of the transaction.
-
Abraham Global Aid Foundation will review all requests on a case-by-case basis to ensure a fair and prompt resolution.
5. Financial Accountability and Oversight
Stewardship is a foundational pillar of Abraham Global Aid Foundation. We operate under strict internal financial controls to prevent mismanagement and ensure efficiency.
-
Our Board of Directors provides rigorous oversight of all budgets, incoming revenue, and outgoing project expenditures.
-
We are committed to maintaining lean administrative operations so that the maximum possible percentage of every dollar goes directly toward our on-the-ground programs.
6. Donor Privacy and Data Protection
Abraham Global Aid Foundation deeply respects the privacy of our donors and is committed to protecting your personal information.
-
No Sharing Policy: We will never sell, rent, trade, or share our donors' personal information (including names, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers) with any third-party organizations, nor will we send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.
-
Data Usage: Personal information is collected securely and used exclusively for processing transactions, issuing official receipts, acknowledging contributions, and sharing updates about our humanitarian impact.
-

7. Ethical Fundraising
Abraham Global Aid Foundation is committed to ethical fundraising practices. We believe that donors have the right to be fully informed about our mission, the way we intend to use donated resources, and our capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes. We do not employ high-pressure solicitation tactics or manipulative imagery, ensuring our relationships with donors are built on mutual respect and a shared desire to uplift vulnerable communities.
